Ervine/Williams

What's the latest on our fabulous lefties. Two of the awesome foursome.

Have they passed their covid tests?
Are they out of isolation?
Have they rejoined the main squad?

That’s why the squad announcement has been so delayed - they are waiting on clearance. Let’s hope it’s okay.

There is a strong chance they could potentially miss the first match tomorrow at least. Out of ZC's hands - up to the medical protocol and authorities now.

How many matches are they missing, really stupid. 🤦‍♂️

I notice Raza and Burl played the warm up, so are they in line for the ODI series?

Awww nooo. Is this precautionary for first match or positive testing?

I guess sikander raza and burl come straight into the starting eleven which is welcome and myers will get a ODI debut

Oh! Dear, Williams and Ervine miss out again!

I'm happy for Sikandar and Ryan Burl though.

Hoping both will be back for T20s and full tour of Ireland.

So will they be back for Sundays match?

Can't just have Taylor and the under 19s squad in effect

Seems unlikely. Both tested negative. But word is that their respective family members are still positive, so there seems to be some difficult getting them cleared to re-enter the bubble.

I suppose theres a tiny chance for Sunday but definitely wouldn't bet on it tbh. More likely the third ODI or most probably the T20 series I think.

The problem is they will be fit for arguably their weakest format. We need them for Tests and ODIs, not so much for T20Is.
