Hes very lucky to have scored this actually, had a horrid year.
Probably one of those gamble low risk low pay contracts hoping for a high reward
All the best to him. Now or never

He's he's extremely lucky to have been given this. Good on him though for having some luck on his side

Yep, theres no justification for handing him this contract. He's one of those guys this forum is always swooning over and hoping he 'returns". Honestly, he wouldn't make a difference in our nat team, he will merely join the single digit top and middle order batting

Hmm he might kick on at a smaller county reunited with his old coach. He was very talented as a boy. Just lost his way this season. Surprised a county has taken a punt on him tbh but it might work out for them. Let’s see next season.

People need to realise that Byrom will never play for Zimbabwe. It doesn't help the situation when news of the coach being a prick is plastered all over the place. We need to focus on the talent still in Zimbabwe, that's that's bottom line.

Ben curran might be a shout in a few years.
The more I hear about Nick Welch, the more I'm beginning to realise that he will probably won't play for the national side. I believe the family are sick of the broken system and are totally dissolusioned with it

So, do you think he'll just walk away from the game altogether if he can't even make it at Glamorgan - like how James Cameron decided to leave cricket at 26?
