Reggie will be the next skipper.
Would actually be pretty happy with this. He's a great character. At several times in the recent Tests when we were getting trounced, BT just sort of gave up and looked totally disinterested in the field, and Reggie seemed to take over marshalling the field and encouraging people.

But I doubt he'd be able to keep batting high up the top of the order if he is also captain and keeper. Thats a lot of burden.
I think he should be a permanent VC. stepping in when needed.

If PJ Moor commits to ZC again, improves his form, he'd definitely also be a good choice.
I had PJ earmarked as a guy who could captain once the Big 4 retire, he’d be doing a bridging role until one of the next gen Big 4 are ready to take over. But he’s defected hasn’t he?

I think whilst the Big 4 are there one of them should be captain, but if they all bow out after the next CWC cycle I think Burl could be the guy. His record isn’t great atm but he seems to be improving & looks to be a smart cricketer

Regis is a good option too, but will keeping & captaining be too much?
