Tashinga musekiwa has a phenomenol one day batting average.
Who is he?
Yet another 21 year old who went to Churchill. I don’t know what they did to that year group but they are extremely good.
Averages over 92 runs per match now, That's Insane.

Yeah, I mean obviously that will come down a lot over time as he plays more innings.

But thats Shumba, Madhevere, Madande, Musekiwa, Chipungu, Chesa, Munyonga all from Churchill playing franchise in the last couple of years. Did Tanu Makoni go there at some point too? His younger bro does so I'm guessing he might have done.

Churchill had a lean period but they seem to have had a good couple of years recently.

Wes didnt become the highest u19 wc wicket taker by being bad tho
You have to look at the opposition he bowled to though. I think he averaged 100+ against the Test nations and took almost all of his wickets against teams like PNG, Scotland, Canada, etc.
Well, in his defence, you can only beat the team(s) you're facing. Either way, harvesting wickets as an all-rounder is quite impressive. If I where part of the coaching set-up, I'd have him lean more into his batting

Wes is surely the like-for-like direct replacement for Williams. It’s fairly unlikely he’ll be quite that good but you never know. Long term he’ll probably bat 5 across formats and be a really handy bowling option.

These are still pretty decent teams though. What I`m trying to say is he isnt a guy who lacks any venom

Wes really underrated imo. Has the makings of a properly excellent loi all rounder. Just needs to learn his role better.

Unfortunately no live scoring for either fixture today as all guys trained on using Cricinfo are working the 4 women's fixtures today. :/

Rocks game currently delayed due to a wet outfield. Sunny now but a lot of rain yesterday in Masvingo.

No word from the other match at Queens. Guess we'll have to wait until tonight for scores.
