This time Indian Under 19 is weakest as the Board decided not to retain any players from previous batch and many domestic under 19 tournaments got cancelled due to pandemic as a result boys didnt get adequate time to prepare selectors decided the squad with only 2/3 tournaments.

Sri Lanka this time strong side and are contenders for not only the Asia Cup but also the World Cup

Thats not a choke. BD lost by a huge margin. Pakistan choked vs SL. At any rate, we'll have to see how the World CUp goes.

2020 Bangladesh choked by losing to 5 runs vs India in the final, and then beat them at the WC.

Meant that BD were set up to win that with a pretty poor Indian team and prior wins. Not to mention winning the toss

Sri Lanka's wrong plan of keeping the wickets till end costed them as they lost wicket at regular intervals. 8th U19 Asia Cup Title for India, bit surprising this time as the players got least opportunity to play bi lateral tournaments to get ready for the WC

Noticable thing in this U19 Asia Cup for India is Harnoor Singh, Rasheed, Ostwal and 2 pace bowling allrounders in form of Bawa & Hangrekar. For Sri Lanka Mathew slinger Matheesha Pathirana left armer Rodrigo and opening batsman pacebowling allrounder Chamindu Wickramasinghe have bright future

Wow! I was a bit surprised that India u19 won this event. Good signs for world cup. Sri Lanka and Pakistan are both tough teams and any of these three can beat the other on a given day.
