Yes, I've been pleasantly surprised by the performance this week.

Except Andile Phehlukwayo, all are members of SA third string side, doesn't get enough chance. Zim can't defeat them despite playing with most of their senior team regulars Raza, Chatara, Masakadza, Madhevere, Tiripano

No excuse for this brutal thrash. Namibia Cricket is definately in better position then Zimbabwe
Rickelton is SA future star player.
Reeza, klassan, fortuin, zondo are standout performers of this year domestic tournament. Tbh all we know SA domestic system much more competitive than zimbabwe. So it's predictable that SA has upper hand in this tournament, even though zimbabwe played good game.
So it's not so worrying.

As a fan am too excited about Namibia growth. But compering Namibia with zimbabwe, zimbabwe has upper hand. Waiting for upcoming Namibia series and soon you realize that.

I've recently observed that Mutambami isn't as bad as used to be, he has improved a bit. He has bulked up too and has become a bit of a rare big hitter for Zimbabwe. Still shouldn't make the main XI but let's see how he goes.

Future Stars, SA domestic is strong, all these have become excuses written in a rule book and are printed after defeats with every series. If SA had domestic performers, Zim also had domestic performers and a quite number of players who are regulars in national team. Excuses are making Zimbabwe Cricket blunt, players are happy with excuses as their performances are not getting blamed for defeats in a wider way and are very much sure of their selection in next series. Namibia Cricket is not a full member nation, still their emerging team managed to win against SA Emerging which has strong domestic structure and players with excellent future with good domestic stats, hence its a huge achievement for them comparing their heaven & hell differance in domestic structure between SA & Namibia.Zimbabwe domestic structure on the other hand which is naturally considered to be good then an associate domestic structure had to give excuses instead of performance. Lower ranked team has to catch the modern theme if you get any A level or emerging side of top team, you have to beat them to make a mark.Excuses will just put the team backwards

Results were definitely better than what I feared as well... Good quality opposition to get some confidence under the belt.

Ervine made 1 runs of 9 balls before getting out ..clearly looked out of Nick ..not his strongest format to be honest

Ah! The game which was likely to be won was washed out and the one where there is a thrashing written, is happening. :(

Not a good showing this. Should have done better. Easily Zimbabwe's weakest format.

Still fought well with the ball, managed to have them at some 50 odd for 4. Not bad taking 5 wickets and pushing it to 18th over.

Zim A with 7 regulars of senior team including few experienced guys is struggling against 3rd string of SA A team. Meaningless excuses are floating for defeat . Zim should take their T20I cricket seriously else it will be hard for them to qualify in this year's T20WC in Australia.
