No point picking these spinners when we have burl raza shumba and madhevere. Unless we have another cremer.
Cremer would never have been able to take 3-14 against a side like Afghanistan. Burl is probably on par with Cremer in terms of spin bowling.

Either play Wellington or else the all rounders are more than sufficient to play spinners role. If Willo comes back then he gives another option. Don't need to play Ndlovu or Mavuta at all.

Kasuza could easily have played as an opener and be given free license to hit in place of Ndlovu who was not utilised in any capacity at all... Even if Kasuza fails it doesn't matter. He can play a role very similar to what Zhuwao played at the WCQ in 2018, if not against strong attacks, at least against lesser attacks they will come off for sure and as of now winning consistently against these associate teams matters a lot for Zimbabwe.

I am sorry but this is the strangest comment i ever read here ..cremer was world class ..proper orthodox legspinner with loop, flight, guile and googly ..burl works on big grounds like Harare ..in subcontinent he wil go for 45 runs every game ..he just bowls leg spin and is not in control a lot of times ..he has good flight though which works in bigger grounds like Harare were u have to absolutely smash to clear boundary

We never really recovered from losing cremer

People speak of taylor and that but cremer really was a gem of a bowler. We have never really found another. Mavuta showed glimpses at start and then tailed away

Get myers in next match and marumani in place of shumba and ndlovu.

Not joking at all. Check Cremer's averages against countries like Canada/Kenya/Bermuda and compare it to the averages against India/Australia/Pakistan.
