Ya I agree. It's an unticked box. I'm always a bit confused by the role of bowling coach. What we really need is a specialist spin coach, at least to hold some coaching clinics. Does a guy set out to be a bowling coach and learn seam, offspin, legspin, left arm orthodox and chinaman? They're all quite different.

Ali Frost 50 up for Ireland Development XI against Gloucestershire 2nds. This guy has really improved. Goes against my theory of having to be top drawer as a kid, but no harm in being wrong
He looks really good!

He's batting at 3 and PJ Moor next in at 5.
On 60 now, 100 in the offing.

I see USA have announced their squad. Also Rusty Theron is in it. He is/was a good player. How has he ended up in USA?
Fast track to citizenship
If they offer that they will end up with a power side in all formats

He was a world class bowler with really good stats, including IPL. He had some knee problems.

Monank Patel is their captain, and I'm guessing best batsman. Greencard guy from Gujarat. Looks good.
I wonder what a 12 month USA contract is worth?
They need a Walmart guy to take an interest in cricket and it would be a game changer.

PJ out for 9. No foot movement

7 and 9 for PJ, and didn't take the gloves. Not a great start to his Ireland career.
