I seem to remember Kirsty Coventry getting a large US$ cheque (back when the Zim dollar was still around) and a diplomatic passport form Bob after her heroics in the Olympics. He's not against singing the praises of whites when it suits him. But a win over Bangladesh doesn't have quite the profile for that...

I Dont't think the Kirsty's issue was sincere, did they give the team a send off to the Olympics? They wanted the West to think just that, to make it appear that they are not against, maybe I am wrong.

But a win over Bangladesh doesn't have quite the profile for that...

I would have to agree with that outside the cricketing clique in Zimbabwe it had no significance to the majority.
