Time to fast track Bennet and MacMillan into the national squad
Bennet has lots of potential. He's off to play some English Club soon. We need to see how he goes in Domestic next season. You don't just walk into this Zim side  Macmillion is a couple of levels below Bennet at this point in time. Need to see how he goes in the WC and how he does in domestic. He's also got potential, but there's now a pathway that needs ro be followed, no fast tracking nothing.

Kudos to Elton Chigumbura for drafting in ronak Patel and campbell macmillan into the lions main side. Its great for them to have a bit of exposure before the under 19 World cup. Im sure we will see more of this before the tournament starts next year. Also the fast bowler shungu has played a few first class games. It bodes well 😃😃

Yes, history shows Zimbabwe has had success form bloodying youngsters at domestic level, fast tracking them by playing a giant seasoned pros.

I remember Charlie Coventry and Hamilton playing Logan cup at 16

It's good, but only 2 u19's are benefitting? Schonken I presume is still at school and the other 2 have just left or are bunking class
Ideally the entire u19 side needs exposure to men's cricket, but for sure there are a number of them that wouldn't cope.
It would be good exposure if they made up a side to play in the Vigne Cup.

Three. You forgot shungu who debuted in first class few weeks ago 😃.
Yea for sure. I would hope Hamilton himself who is CEO recognises this having beneffited himself all those moons ago.
Also looking forward to seeing sean bennet and shonken play at some stage this year.
Under 19 world cup doesnt start until 2024 so hopefully a few guys will get a run. I guess 50 over and logan will restart at tail end of 2023 so plenty of time for exposure.

3 wickets for Mataranyika on debut. A stumping for Macmillan and Madande the top scorer for Tuskers.

Alex Falao and Talent Dzikiti in the wickets over in the other game.

Youth!!
