Mayavo is better keeper by far but Madande has a huge batting potential.

I've posted the same thing load of times, but I'll post it again. His maiden FC century, Tusker Vs Eagles a year or two back. Some of the most hostile local cricket we've seen for many years, with Chivanga and Ngarava bowling extremely aggressively at him, intense sledging that really crossed the line and the umpires probably should have stepped in a lot more. Nonetheless, 20 year old Madande in only like his 5th professionall match coped with it all and hit the most sublime, chanceless century. It was a really hostile match and there was literal violence off field afterwards between some senior players.

It was a phenomenal performance. Shouldn't judge a player on one innings but I was so massively impressed and I'd back the kid every time following that.
Fair enough.

And it's eventually Madande who gets out.

Let's face it, we would have taken 180 when it was 90 odd for 7, we've got 249.

Still, may be 25 runs short, but I'll take it.

Well we've done incredibly well to get 249 from the situation we were in. Big fight from the lower order.

Probably still not enough considering how the pitch always flattens out in the afternoon, but the Dutch look like they've got quite a long tail? We'll have to bowl well but we've got half a chance at least. Massive well done to Madande and co down the order.

Very happy for Clive. This knock will get his career going. I didn't see us getting to 150.

Raza is now in full T20 mode. Permanently... we have to accept that. Probably better off batting at 7 or even opening since we are clearly short 1 opener. He has actually opened over 20 times in ODIs and averaged 30 so he can do it. Give him the full license to go after all the bowling with only 2 guys out there

Just seen all the wickets. Wessley was unlucky. Most of the others were poor shot selection and choices.

I'm not too against Evans sweep shot. It was the right shot for the ball bowled, but he just didn't execute it well enough, and if anything, it was also a little lucky to creep through.

We're can't really expect much to change in the batting department until we actually fix the batting coaching and the batting mindset.

Has a Zim lower order ever put up such a great rearguard action? Tremendous stuff.

Finally can put to bed the conversation about Madande being the first choice keeper. Sensational
I still like Mayavo.
Yeah maybe as 2nd option , Madande has class
