Great result

TK is a Solomon Mire regen. No footwork but you know once every 5 games he might do something.

This is why the suggested TK,Gumbie and Kaitano top 3 isn’t a bad idea. Craig at 3 with the ball moving like that is a huge risk especially without Williams. He needs to be protected. The only way we win a game is with a strong middle order performance

Bonzo impressed me. There is a lot to work with there.

Doesn't make sense to not play Overlord, unless he's injured that was a blunder. He's done enuf in 50 over games to justify his spot. Maybe they're saving him for the T20's

Shumba coming in up the order is also a big surprise.

Has there ever been a game where the selections, the batting order and the bowling changes have not raised questions? Not questions really, just major head shaking.

I also think there's something to be said for batting TK down the order. International openers like this Sri Lankan duo are not going to give you shit deliveries to smack around very often. If you don't have a bloody solid defence and technique you're going to be found out. In TK we have a guy that can get on with it down the order.

He’s suited for down the order as a finisher in this format. There’s still merit in playing 50 over cricket the old fashioned way and building a platform.

Ultra aggressive like Dave’s approach only works with the players to back it up.

Is it time we go back to the Kevin Curran method now that we have a very inexperienced batting lineup? Just tell guys to score runs, bat time, set personal bests, and not worry about victory as the primary goal?

Who's our coach this series?

Probably a good thing the rain came or we'd be extremely embarrassed.

Also, day 2340 calling for Matsi to be replaced. Man is stealing a living.
