There is no way one should ever take a WC win, in any format or level, for granted. We've learnt this the hard way by losing to Uganda's and UAE's, so this win is important. It's not huge by any means but very important. Imagine after the latest poor showing of the senior team, if the U19s were to finish outside of Top 12? You never know with the ICC , may be they would have simply given up on ZC and start prioritizing associates over Zim


The boys have shown here that while they may not as good as the top 8 teams, but surely not below the associates and Zimbabwe cricket do have hope.
