Ervine, Williams, Raza and Burl out for a combined total of 0 off 5 balls.

Nice work guys!!

These guys are too important to play club cricket though apparently

Burl is on thin ice I suspect.
Williams is almost looking past it.
Ervine is just not a modern T20 player.
Raza going for a high risk sweep first up when he needs to consolidate and then reviewing a ball that he knows hit him on the gloves. Just weird.

Burl and Raza are OK, but questions have to be raised now over Ervine and Williams. The investment has to be in younger players.

Overall this is terribly depressing. If Zimbabwe win this series they will most likely qualify directly for T20 WC 2026, so there is a lot riding on this series and then they come up with this. Depressing.

Burl is only a dead cert if he sorts his bowling out.

Williams will bring his A game next match, Ervine isn’t cut out for this game. Got to make the bond notes where you can though with hardly playing tests.

Standard from old Raz Dawg that tbf. Zero match awareness. Course he’ll burn a review, he’s the captain. In the post match presser he’ll say he backs his aggressive brand of cricket, won’t change his style and throw an inshallah in for good measure  watch him get like a 6fer and pull this back second innings.

Clive is very mature for his age.

I don’t know why some people are so down on him. All evidence is that he consistently plays with a more level-head than our experienced and older players
