No way Zimbabwe will make it to the super 8 with this squad, they need to get rid of atleast half of these players after this world cup. Wellington, tony, maposa, myers & marumani need to go. As far as the 40 year olds go, Taylor & Raza might stick around and retire once n for all after 2027 odi wc at home. They will also fancy their chances considering williams & craig ervine are almost done. Cremer needs to stick around in white ball because mavuta/masekesa are not established.

Nick Welch, Ben Curran, Naqvi, Johnathan Campbell & Blignaut should be picked right after the world cup to ensure they have experience under their belts before 2028 t20 wc. I just searched and all of these 5 have brothers who are far better than people like tony munyonga, ZC might as well take a look at the brothers too. Brian Bennett has a twin too, all these pairs combined would make a strong squad with guidance from raza, cremer & taylor.

Part of me hopes we lose every game. Hate the attitude that ZC has towards the associates, like we are above them.

Just a warm up, but that is a pretty filthy result.

If you haven't heard about the ridiculous upheavals in the Oman squad, and the rupture between the players and the board there, Google it. Makes ZC look like a paragon of stable governance.

Yet...

Oman win. Ouch.

Would have been good to watch these games but our bowlers seem to get hit for 6 so easy, yet half our side struggle to clear the ropes.

Munyonga and Madande have failed even against an associate nation, I don't know what ZC wants to see here?

Losing to Oman is a bit of a shame really.

Youre being a bit harsh, anybody can have 37 shit games in a row. Talent like that will always shine thru.

Only a petition to SRC or ICC by zimbabwe supporters can make this stupid ZC board react..
