Now I see what you mean about trade-offs. But that's precisley what I said Bayhaus. Not just the administrators but the players. Particulalry with this youngsters next approach. I said despite bad performance, Mpofu won't want to be dropped for as long as Jarvis or Vitori continue to get canned or get one or two wickets at most even if Mpofu gets just one or none how will they drop him? On what clear basis? It gets even worse when he constanly outperforms Ncube at this franchise then he is forced to step aside for Ncube. How will they justify that. Particularly after Ncube got a mighty spanking in the ODI despite the wickets. That;s why I advocated a experience first, then youngsters in gradually and carefully. There must be a hierarchy and decisions should be long-term and justified. Once Mpofu is dropped for Jarvis for example we know the baton has been passed. As it is Jarvis comes in, doesn't set the world alight, then Chinouya will demand a run just as long as was granted to Jarvis beofre he was dropped and I tell you some administrators will back him. This was complicated from the beginning when pioneers were discarded. I expect to see it go on for along time. My approach pays in more ways than one, it extends beyond the pitch. Like it or not!!bayhaus wrote:Mistake no. ZC just filling the quota for a bad decision each match. After that are the power struggles at play and trade offs for positions (if so and so play then I want so s and so in), anything after that is now where we can say there was a mistake...brmtaylor.com admin wrote: I think that is a pearler of a mistake.

I may just be a victim of Stockholm syndrome, but I seem to be agreeing with more from Hhm's posts.

Nah, it's not Stockholm syndrome. It's like those informercials for the Snuggie or ab-crunch machines. You know the products are rubbish but when you see the ads repeated so often you start to think, "you know what, maybe I could do with a ladder that folds into 68 positions". Then you remember just how ridiculous the product is.Jemisi wrote:I may just be a victim of Stockholm syndrome, but I seem to be agreeing with more from Hhm's posts.

It's been a good opening start by Jarvis and Ncube. That was a pretty wide ball, but to be fair the length was good... NZ are 4 down!
