At least the NZers gave their wickets away after maximising on the scoreboard. We really could use more experience in the middle order to take pressure away from our top four! They are simply under too much pressure when wickets start to fall, because they know so much depends on them. Let's be honest, even you guys feel a hint that all is lost when even if we were 4 down with Tino(assuming he was middle order), Waller & Chakabva still to come! Even during the NZ innings I feel we could've pegged them back another 50-80 runs on their total if we had more experience operating!
Man, I don't think there has ever been or will ever be an event or a fact that does not concurr with your set-in-stone views. Now Chakavba and Waller are even responsible for the soft dismissals of Vusi, Taylor and Tibba.

Vusi: "Yeah, I was like, look there's Regis on the balcony, and boy did he look inexperienced, and the next thing I knew I'd gifted this Brownlie fellow a first wicket in all senior cricket."

Please do tell what experience you talk of? Ewing? Gavin's 51 FC matches, 7 ODIs, 3 Tests, to Waller's 36, 21, 1* and Chakabva's 49, 10, 1*. oh yes that's bucketloads more, yes 3 Tests more, that's a wealth of experience more (at a healthy average of 18, thanks largely 71 vs Bangladesh, all other scores aside a 34 v India, and two ducks vs Ind and Aus, and a 1 vs Bangladesh), must really inspire a lot of confidence, yep...we agree hhm bring in the vastly more experienced Ewing...come on mate give it up...

Well this is the partnerhip which will have a big impact on the direction of the game, a big chance for Regis to show us why he is so highly rated in Zimbabwe circles. Fnigers crossed that Waller can carry on his good form, remember he scored 66 in the warm up match against this same attack, would deffo take 66 today.

Though Vusi played really well and showed a much better temperment that he did against Pakistan and Bangladesh just a shame that he gave it all away on 93.

Anyone got a link with commentry yet?

:D :D :D

Didn't get the whole of it (only heard something about "cover drive"), so thanks for that. But now someone seems to have pressed the button, and the commentary is back.

Lovely on-drive by Chakabva :4:

The follow on has been avoided thankfully... the guys need to keep chipping away at this deficit.
