Isn't Burl dating a 16 year old or something like that?

I don't know how old she is, but he's just not a nice guy to nice level people. One of his best friends is Richard Lock, who is one of the biggest idiots I've ever met. But like I said Burl is a extremely gifted cricketer.

He does post some odd stuff on social media, but let's judge him on his cricketing talents ......

But let's compare him to Malcolm Waller who many say is one if the nicest guys within Zim cricket, he is not arrogant and struggles from a lack of self confidence which is clear to see in the way that he plays.

The best players are arrogant......

Interesting discussion. Hopefully Burl does not turn out to be Vermeulen part 2 by the looks of all these descriptions. Good point by zimfan1, a bit of aggression is necessary to be on top of the game, but hope he knows how to keep it in check. But there are greats who did well even by being the nicest guys on and off the field too - Rahul Dravid for instance. Virat Kohli looks like an idiot sometimes when his arrogance / aggression goes overboard, so it all lies in how he handles himself. Let's see...

Ive said before to be the best, you have to beat the best, but what I havent said is you have to think like you are the best and believe you are the best.

I wish more of us were arrogant.

Bit harsh mate, maybe keep that kind of stuff to yourself. Burl looks like he's class and it's something Zimbabwe needs, a touch of a good up and coming batter. Him, Moor, Kazuza and a few others should be the lads to look at in future. Though at their age, Taylor had already scored a double ton at FC Level :? Infact he was 18 wasn't it?

I was watching the Black Caps Aussie test and the co-commentator mentioned to Mark Taylor that between him and Ross Taylor they had scored 55% of all test runs by people called Taylor. They were then trying to think of other players called Taylor and none of those guys could come up with BT. I thought that was harsh. You fellows having a dip at Burl, Lock, Waller etc are really out of line. Are there any white guys you do like? I think Burl, Lock,Waller and Ballance might be related? Cricket is definitely in the genes. There's no doubting RB's cricketing ability, he's very talented, he's also a fantastic squash player.
There's no excuse for arrogance. Tendulkar is a prime example of how to be.

Calm down, just know the guy personally and he wasn't the nicest guy. But cricket is what matters here and like I said he is an excellent cricketer.

As for the rest, Waller truly is a good guy. BT seemed nice. I don't know Cremer. Welch was an ok guy. Byrom was nice until having come back from UK quite full of himself. Really can't stand Lock.
