That's the thing Traindriver no one is really making this spot their own so PJ will be in with a chance .....

Mutumbami - poor glove work to the spinners, decent with bat although still not convinced he can have long success opening plus he is now injured ......

Chakabva - Decent with the gloves in BD especially to the spinners but his batting in LOI cricket is woeful ......

PJ Moor - Logan Cup form is very good 3 hundreds and 3 fifties already this season at a good strike rate makes you think his 50 over stuff would be good, but it's not averaging 18 only passed 50 once in his List A career .....

Gumbie - Young and showing signs of being a future national player but do the selectors throw him in the deep end and risk him turning into a Chakabva or Mutumbami ???

Mutizwa - The interesting candidate as he seems to be totally out of the selection debate wouldn't be upset to see him recalled although id rather invest in the other 4 candidates ....

According to the initial report, the camp starts today. From who's missing in the Logan Cup:

Chamu
Hami
Mutumbami (wk)
Moor (wk)
Ervine
Williams
Raza
Burl
Waller
Chigumbura (c)
Jongwe
Cremer
Wellington
Madziva
Panyangara
Muzarabani

That looks like a reasonable 16. Have I forgotten someone? Of course Burl might just be injured, though, or might miss out on the final 15.

Chisoro must count himself extremely unlucky.

Yes Chisoro is unlucky although they seemed to play 3 seamers and one spinner in BD so really was a waste having 4 spinners on tour .....

Squad looks heavy on batting and light in bowling only 6 specialist bowlers ......

If moor/Burl/Garwe are in the squad it would represent a meritocracy. If so well done ZC Selectors for rewarding performance above any other sinister factors

Along with Chisoro the biggest missing name for me is Tiripano, Muzarabani in preference to Tiripano ?, not for me unless Muzarabani is in for his new found six hitting ability ............

Tiripano may well be in for the Bangladesh matches (tests) One would hope so. Why no official word from ZC regarding Afghanistan tour? have the media department been on strike for past decade lol
