Poll: Should ZIMDOGGY be a ZCF admin?
Re: Poll: Should ZIMDOGGY be a ZCF admin?
I love that this is the top thread on the forum at the moment.

Re: Poll: Should ZIMDOGGY be a ZCF admin?
It is nice to have an enjoyable topic amidst our usual gloom.

Eugene is a senior behind the scenes figure in the Zimdoggy camp, with a bright future to come.totoro wrote:No, Because I think eugene should be the next admin.
A vote for Eugene is a vote for the 'Dogg. Refer to endorsement
Totoro, you have an opportunity to rethink things through.
Closer to the main point,
We have seen things start to slip under the existing admin,
Spammers have taken control of the non-cricket forum territory.
Certain members are making two threads on the same topic, and a few days back this forum was down between 6-12 hours, unsure of this being a Dos attack or a glitch.
There is a power vacuum that is ALLOWING this to happen. This wouldn't have occurred under my watchful eye. There would be no 12 hour shutdowns without me or Eugene knowing.
We absolutely need zimdoggy as a third admin and it MUST be fast tracked soon.
The very health of this forum is at immediate stake!!

The non-cricket forum has indeed become a wasteland of spam. ZIMDOGGY can make it great again.

Why don't you both become admins then?ZIMDOGGY wrote:Eugene is a senior behind the scenes figure in the Zimdoggy camp, with a bright future to come.totoro wrote:No, Because I think eugene should be the next admin.

maehara & brmtaylor.com admin will always be the creators of the forum, however we need admins that are active, and keep the forum interesting.
Re: Poll: Should ZIMDOGGY be a ZCF admin?
There is no criticism to Brm and maehara, they are both fine posters and people.
However they do not visit that often.
That's fine, sometimes enthusiasm and passion subsides, or interest is lost in the off season and what not. However like totoro just said, we need active posters that check the forum daily and across time zones. Zcf is planted firmly on my work computer.
I saw an incident recently where a situation developed that put at risk a person that's not associated with this forum as a result of this forum and I was helpless to fix it.
That could have had a real life consequence to a person who wouldn't have known or understood how they were involved.
It's really common sense

Another question for the candidate -
Much has been offered to the forumites in this campaign.
What can the Dogg offer in terms of developing a healthy working relationship with the current admins? What can he offer to them specifically?
