That basically means he is not there on merit. If potential was to be considered, there are definitely half a dozen ahead of him, including Zhawi, Jakeil, Bowie and Co.

What kind of contacts does Dougie Hondo have? He keeps landing all kinds of roles with ZC, and seems to be carrying Dylan with him now...

Chari would have to score runs. Now he will get selected for the test team again.

BRIAN CHARI IS FIT ONLY FOR DOMESTIC CRICKET, HE IS A BIG FAILURE IN INTERNATIONAL CRICKET. HE WILL AGAIN GET CHANCE FOR TEST & WILL AGAIN FAIL. SO, ITS BETTER TO TRY A YOUNG STAR IN PLACE OF CHARI

Mumba and nyauchi are on fire. Please don't tell me about standard of opposition. These Sri Lankans have many first class hundreds and have represented the A team. Good to get excited about these players

Hi guys, finaly found the one thread where at least the majority of people are talking sense :)

Absolutely. How many of our middle order batsmen average 40+ in FC? I've counted at least three in the SL side.

It seems Mumba and Nyauchi used the new ball with good effect. But the real test is on now, with the partnership for the fifth wicket moving smoothly towards three figures, and the wicket, in all probability as good as ever at HSC post Lunch on the second day. Wellington got his work cut out.

Strange that little Hondo hasn't bowled yet.

:D

Tough day in the office as expected, but we haven't disgraced ourselves. Excellent stuff from Nyauchi in particular by the looks of it... Some Chigumburaesque bowling figures for Jongwe though.
