Takashinga 2 vs OH

OH went to Takashinga today. OH batted 1st and were off to a bad start with Cephas Zhuwao getting caught on 0. Zaheer Tufail followed for about 15. Vusi Sibanda and Ali Aqil had a big partnership of over 170 runs. Brandon Diplock came in and him and Vusi stayed to the end ensuring OH got over 300 runs. Sibanda destroyed Takashinga's reasonable impressive bowling attack of BLessing Muzarabani, Tendai Nyamayaro, and Charles Kunje. Sibanda finished on 189*

Takashinga were off to a bad start with Diplock removing the opening pair very quickly gping at vritually no runs. He didn't get much help from the other end though as Takashinga plodded to 130/4 after 25 overs. But after the tea break OH seemed to wake up and uped the anti.Charles Kunje batted well before falling to Cephas Zhuwao for about 40 runs. Forster Mutizwa made about 20. Hammad Hassan took 3 as he finished Takashinga off.

In the end OH won comfortably by over 100 runs.

Pretty average player that Diplock.

What was the standard like, a number of Asians names in the sides, any of them any good?

When they can bat better than Vusi then they should get picked. That's not going to happen any time soon, he's a very good batsman.

Inexperience will always be exposed on the next level. Typical example is the AfricaT20 team. Most of the 'new' players need to find their feet first on the domestic level.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Sibanda a perfect manifestation of the selection paradox that exists for Zim. Clearly one of the best batsmen on his generation in Zim. Equally clearly out of his depth at the highest level.

Therefore... Attracts a massive amount of criticism, yet continues to be selected.

If it were t for racial forces dropping Vusi for has Beens like Taylor he would be one of the most accomplished batsman in the world today but they don't want to see his black negro ass be successful.
