Looks like a shootout between Chigumbura and PJ Moor for the final batting slot.

Best thing about this match is that Ireland are playing their best side, great win by the boys

Hope Masakadzas form continues over the next couple of weeks.

P.S - Raza has only arrived in India after visa problems.

Well done Masakadza I hope he is back in form. Get effort from Mutumbami at a decent strike rate too, but he needs to improve his work behind the stumps.

Dont mean to nitpick but by the looks of it,(not judging from this game alone)..Vusi sure has got the intent to score the boundaries but lacks it when it comes to rotating the strike..Agreed he can play second fiddle to Hami but he can try do it at a better strike rate.A boundary here and there and then a slew of dots between them..Its all these little things that could potentially cost us against the Afghans,.Both their openers are swashbuckling..Wonder how we can eke out a win against them this time, they will be way too hungry after losing the asia cup berth to uae
Initially felt PJ moor was getting underutilized, batting so low,but now that Mutumbami is appearing to be snug in his top order role, its enough if he bats a position higher than elton now. Still he would bat a no 7 once raza is back though.

Our batting lineup looks in a good shape. Our regular failures Vusi and Mutumbami are getting more responsible and scoring some runs at the top. Raza is in a good form too, and he should be replacing Chigs once he reaches India. Our bowling unit today looked pretty good as well. The combination of Mupariwa-Tiripano-Chatara brings tons of experiences in our bowling department. L Wellington is keeping his bowling tight and not conceding many runs. Williams and Raza will provide us more spin options.
No use of playing Chigumbura as we are not benefitting anything by playing him. We already have enough part time bowlers who can keep things tighter than him, also guys like PJ and Raza are handy lower order batsmen who can score runs quickly.

Zim XI for the upcoming matches:

Vusi
Hami
Mutumbami
Waller
Williams
Raza
PJ
Mupariwa
Wellington
Tiripano
Chatara
