With the smart phones everyone is now a news reporter. Some of the stuff on social media is horrific.

Some shocking police brutality. Just don't understand how people can do that stuff.

Well there's a big internal division within ZANU. Will the Old Man still be alive and will he still wield the power he has always done? It would seem unlikely. Ordinarily I would say as a political party they would never leave anything to chance again, but there are too many variables now and a very discontent nation. It comes down to which faction have the support of the army. Again I think they all have a segment they are relying on. It's a proper mess and very alarming. The smart money would be on Mr M if he joins with Amai Mjuru because it looks like they may have the support of the vets, but what cards do The First Lady and G40 have? VP Mphoko is just starting to flex his muscles as well.
Two years is a long time in the current volatile climate. I pray for peace and for no more bloodshed and for our poor nation to get back on its feet, but I fear we are just expendable pawns in the struggle that lies ahead.
There's no such thing as a fair election, in any country, but Africa has rewritten the book on how to guarantee an outcome. ZANU have always relied on a chunk of the electorate voting them back as the winners of the Liberation struggle and the guardians against the evil whites planning to recolonize and the unrealistic fear of the Third Force. I don't think this will wash again and that's a lot of the votes. Surviving the next few months is going to be tough enough. I hate elections, it's just a time of killing and torture and beatings and is proof that democracy is but a myth.
