I hope we Cream Nepal. Their fans are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to vocal on their chances. I think they, like Shazad, believe their own myth a bit too muchtawac wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 12:12 pmInteresting times ahead. Mire/Zhuwao combo could be magic if it does come of. This should be one of the better 11s we have put out in a long time, well on paper that is. If they can come through in this tournament the better. The warm ups would have given us idea. Hoping the one set for tomorrow goes ahead.

Jarvis, Vitori, Chatara & Blessing needs their must win games at HSC that assist pacers.

Stop going on about HSC, we aren't playing any cricket there yet so lets focus on Bulawayo.Black Mamba wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 1:01 pmJarvis, Vitori, Chatara & Blessing needs their must win games at HSC that assist pacers.

We are playing games at the BAC as well.

Re: Graeme Cremer interview
Wait, those fans are super excited about their team's first major chance to play against good sides and get noticed. The players deserve every bit of their country's adulation especially the way they held their nerve time and again and won the qualification through WCL2. And most of these players suffered badly in terms of lack of facilities after the massive earthquake in 2015 that demolished whatever little cricket infrastructure they had in their country. But they have still made it through this far against all odds. Comparing all of their fans (of course every country has it's share of idiotic fan-base) to an overconfident and insensitive idiot like Shahzad is not fair.sloandog wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 12:43 pmI hope we Cream Nepal. This is a country with a lot of support from their fan-base. Them getting the ODI status would help in rapid improvement of both Nepal and Afghanistan cricket if they can play each other regularly.

Ouch, it would appear I stand corrected
But still, the way they are showing their 'adulation' stinks of cockiness.

That’s just the Asian way man. Every Asian side, except SL, have insanely pompous fans. Even SL has them too, they are just harder to find.
I’ll bet you the Cambodian cricket fans are just as bad.

I've never seen a man look less interested in a press conference. He just doesn't sound as confident and it's almost as if he is going through the motions.
I know it's not true judging by the way he plays on the field and so on, but I often feel a lot of the battle lies in the mind games, and we need to get on top of that too. One thing that stood out for me is when he says, "hopefully the crowd will come support us, hopefully we can play well for them."
He needs to be imploring the crowd to come support us, and so should ZC. They need to be out there in the public making a point to get the fans through the get. He should be saying, "We want the fans to come support us, and we want to perform for them. We want to give them a reason to cheer and be happy. This is our turf, so lets own it."
