The only way they can survive this is to actually get another loan which will just create future problems. The one thing they have access to is the USD which carries a huge premium in Zimbabwe. Banks need it to cover their nostro accounts. Thats the only play they have. 1 Million is actually worth around 1.5 million in the bank system. If they are smart enough they will get a bank to give them that million at a very low interest rate(something like 5% because they win big time in the end) knowing that the bank will get the full million into their nostro accounts when the next payment comes in

I’m not sure why you keep talking about this $1 million?
That was being shared amongst the players and hard working and deserving administrators had we quailified. The administrators in their pointy shoes shouting in the change rooms were only shouting about their cut of that as they’d already spent it  and it was only about the disappointment of the loss of their own windfall. They weren’t thinking about what happened the next day.
If ZC is run properly there’s enough money. It was run more efficiently and produced better cricketers when there was absolutely no money and it was basically amateur cricket now there’s millions and they’re broke and in completely fictitious debt.

the icc just watch and continue to pump in millions . does the icc allow mukuhlani to be involved in politics isn't it some kind of political interference .it clearly states in their rules that there should not be political interference . I wonder where his campaign funds will come from
he needs to be removed from ZC

THE WHOLE BOARD NEEDS TO GO .

Not sure if this makes a difference one way or the other. I think it was clear he didn't really have much power and the board was calling the shots.

Something must have been different for BT and KJ to come back as they had real options.

Well if Hasnain was getting threatened as has been stated and he’s now not squealing about that from the sanctity of ICC headquarters it’s either not true or he’s been paid some money by these guys to keep quiet and fuck off.
Either way good riddance, he was a spineless twat. How do you get paid 20k a month to manage in abstentia?
It’s like pulling two salaries to be RS manager/mentor and convenor in absentia. Do these fuckwits realize you’re supposed to clock in for work?

It's all going south very fast. Reminded me of the script of Bourne Uncertainty: http://www.zimcricketforums.com/viewtop ... 13#p100413

Looks like the only guy doing any serious sports journalism in Zim is Enkck Muchinjo. This is another brilliant revealing piece about the "double salaried" Hasnain: https://www.theindependent.co.zw/2018/0 ... -quits-zc/
Meanwhile, this paper yesterday established that Hasnain was on a double-salary contract in which ZC was supposed to pay him twice — locally and overseas.

Hasnain earned a US$15 000 monthly overseas salary, paid by ZC into his offshore account, on top of a US$9 700 monthly wage in Zimbabwe.

A document in our possession, written by Hasnain to reconcile payments made and owed to him between April and December 2017 — which he split into two columns labelled “local” and “overseas” — shows that the MD was never paid his local salary by ZC at least until the end of last year. This leaves ZC owing the Pakistani
US$55 473 after the outstanding salary has been added to other expenses.

However, Hasnain acknowledges in the document that he was paid a total US$112 798 in overseas salary between April and October 2017, with US$2 702 outstanding.

A lump sum payment of US$42 815 was made in June 2017 as part of the overseas salary and then four payments of US$15 000 in addition to a US$9 984 transaction.

The document also shows Hasnain demanding, under the local payments column, US$9 838 in unpaid dues for “annual flights tickets for family to London — contractual entitlement.”

Between the period under review, from April to December 2017, the only local payment made by ZC was US$4 492 for the Hasnain’s family vacation in Victoria Falls

I wonder if he was actually doing anything or just a watchdog for the ICC. It honestly doesnt look like he had much control..I also wonder who else got a double salary. I doubt he is the only one.
