As far as I'm aware there's a big dam (Ncema?) that could supply water but there's no pipeline?
The whole country needs rain daily to fill every dam. We had half our rainfall last year. Below average rainfall forecast in the first half of the season and above average forecast in the second half.
We need a massive cloud seeding project, but of course that would involve a tender and millions going astray and whoever wins it just pocketing the money and not doing the job anyway.
If it is another grim rainy season, depends on the waxing and waning of El Nino/ La Nyinya, we are in huge trouble here. There's no water in Bulawayo or Harare municipality. Most people buy their water at 50 bucks for 5000 liters, delivered in a water bowser and put into plastic Jojo tanks. Nobody really knows the source either
If you don't have reverse osmosis you're taking a huge chance
