Maybe Bulawayo Boy can explain the water situation?
As far as I'm aware there's a big dam (Ncema?) that could supply water but there's no pipeline?

The whole country needs rain daily to fill every dam. We had half our rainfall last year. Below average rainfall forecast in the first half of the season and above average forecast in the second half.
We need a massive cloud seeding project, but of course that would involve a tender and millions going astray and whoever wins it just pocketing the money and not doing the job anyway.

If it is another grim rainy season, depends on the waxing and waning of El Nino/ La Nyinya, we are in huge trouble here. There's no water in Bulawayo or Harare municipality. Most people buy their water at 50 bucks for 5000 liters, delivered in a water bowser and put into plastic Jojo tanks. Nobody really knows the source either
If you don't have reverse osmosis you're taking a huge chance

Ya Ayub has improved a lot, he is actually annattacking player and I see Pak don't have him in their T20 plans, at least he wasn't in Australia.. Shows how messed up Pakistan's own selections are.

Anyways, good start for Pak. Once again Faraz Akram gets a game over Maposa which is rubbish. Musikewa should have been tried out as well but I'm still OK with Madande.

Harare's main water supply is Lake Chivero and Lake Darwendale. It's safer drinking water from Chernobyl. No jokes.
Our Morton Jaffray waterworks use antiquated purification methods thst don't take out the heavy metals for one. A couple of years ago a supplier mistakenly sent 30 tons of cyanide, it would have killed most of Harare in a day. Fortunately the error was quickly spotted.
Again all tenders for the purification chemicals and big shenanigans go on. I know this because I tendered for one of the chemicals required and I know my price was half and of course got nowhere.

Faraz bowling well and there's a bit of swing for him.

Problem is u pitch it up and get it wrong and it goes. Has to be deadly accurate, but he's getting it to swing .

And Ervine immediately takes Faraz off. I'd have given him another over.

I like how Ervine is using Blessing and Richie, bringing them back in the middle overs rather than save them for the death. Too many times ODI captains bowl their pacers for 6 overs at the top and them save them for the last few at the end. Never get that idea, you want your best bowlers bowling to change the nature of the innings.

Well i was just going to say he's gambled some overs for a wicket that hasn't come and he's going to be a bit stuck for the next dozen overs. If he's not going to bowl Faraz he might give Bennett a couple or even gamble Dion.
Ya but I thought it was a good move. Blessing has been average today.
