You have to wonder how damaging that is to someone's psyche. You're not getting through that win loss ratio unscathed. Obviously that's applicable to all our guys.

Obviously nobody likes losing, but some of our guys are guilty of getting over a loss in about 27 seconds. We so need a couple of guys that really really really hate to lose.

Zimbabwe being Zimbabwe, a lot can happen between now and the next Test, retirements, scandals, fallouts, even drug issues. I just wish we could face Ireland again soon, then Bangladesh, it would feel like coming full circle.

What a performance, though! This was one of the strongest lineups we’ve seen in a while, and I’m sure even the players on the sidelines would agree. Once a team matures and builds this kind of chemistry, that’s when you introduce a promising youngster, someone who can learn and grow within a solid setup. That’s how teams like Australia and India did it, easing in players like Clarke, Ponting, and Kohli gradually, not overburdening them from the start.

Unfortunately, ZC often does the opposite, expecting someone like Wes to carry the team before he’s even had the time to find his feet.

Credit where it’s due, though, social media pressure clearly forced ZC’s hand in selection this time. Let’s hope that continues across all formats.

Innings victory :W:

What a clinical performance, all our bowlers were exceptional, Curran, Welch, Raza and Evans strong stuff with the bat and really good keeping by Tsiga, what a great game! Keep the momentum going into the T20s and beat them boys, need to stamp our authority over them at home :D

Lets we do not go back to Madande in any format..
BT , TSIGA AND MARUMANI FOR ALL FORMAT..
ARE the rumours of Tom Curram whispers true..
A true all rounder..

This kind of selection is now needed for the ODI team. Stop this Musekiwa and Munyonga selections. This test team can be the ODI team with just two changes. Masakadza in for Chivanga. Maru for Tsiga
I argee even let Tsiga keep while Maru concentrate on opening in some cases...
Musekiwa and Munyonga should fight for one spot 7th spot..

Just listened to Jonathon Trotts presser.

I reckon he will be out of a job soon.

Said he hasn’t had any communication from their board or selectors for months. He has no input into the 11.
Sounds familiar lol
