That still shouldn't be a problem for them. But Zim are putting up a damned good fight here...

It could well have been a different story if Taibu hadn't dropped those two catches off Rainsford in the 3rd over, but then cricket isn't ever that straight forward, Sangakkara may have come out and hit 100 off 30 balls ....

The players can justifiably pat themselves on the back after their efforts in the last two games, they have done well to put the horrors of the first two out of their minds.

One more big effort for game five, you never know !

Well, another close defeat, but again, a lot of positives to take away from bowling department. If we only had another 30 runs on the board...

Last two matches have been very encouraging signs for the team. Elsewhere, Bangladesh has crashed to 2 innings defeats in a row in SA. When Zim travels to Bangla, they have to ensure that they reach the final of the tri-series involving SL-Ban-Zim ahead of Bangla. Then, the have to beat Bangla in the bilateral ODI series that follows. That will be enough to send signals to the ICC about the standards of cricket displayed by Zim.

Lets have another good match on Sunday, and I am really looking forward to the Bangla tour. We just have to prove that we are better than the current worst

good effort by the boys. You cant help to think that maybe ZIm should have won these past two games.

Spare a thought for poor eddie rainsford. He consistently beat the bat in the first ODI and then in his second over of the last ODI had two dropped catches off his bowling. I think that knocked his confidence for six as he bled runs after that, Still he is worth sticking with. His pace and bounce complements the guile of mupariwa/Chigumbura
