He is just looking to make a decent score so that the selectors can justify his selection.

Exactly what I thought ..not a single shot as yet has been a t20 shot trying to go over the top or smash it or try to make quick runs in any way ..he is content taking single-double

I watched few of these T20 matches and this guy Mutsamba seems like a good prospect in ODI and T20 format. He is economical and nippy with his line and length.

My Choice for Zimbabwe Playing XI against Pakistan in T20Is

D Myers
T Marumani
B Taylor ( wkb)
W Madhevere
S Williams
M Shumba
L Jongwe
W Mashinge
D Tiripano
B Muzarabani
V Nyauchi / B Evans ( if available)

Will bring youths into the game as they are performing , the regulars hasen't done well. Out of 82 games, there is only 18 wins and 62 loss with 23% win, its best time for some change.
No burl? Are you kidding?

A lot of cross batted shots from professional cricketers. It would make sense why they struggle to make the step up in Intl games.

Burl last 6T20Is matches only 122 runs, 2 wickets. He will be in Squad, but not in Playing XI as his batting has not come good. If Shumba or Jongwe fails Burl come in, Pakistan are good players against Spin, idea should be to offer them seam friendly green pitch, to have some good results in T20Is.

Didn't he play well against the Afghans in recent T20Is with both ball and bat? Hitting Rashid Khan out of the park five to six times in those three matches. And in this ongoing domestic T20 tournament, he is performing too. I would not include Burl in Test squad but limited overs crickets absolutely yes he is my go to guy.
