Yeah, I agree. When the marginal ones start going his way, ie. the leg before's and the half-chance catches (not to mention the sitters) I can see him taking a bag as you say.

Probably time for a bowling change now though. Jarvis and Ncube have been on for a while now and some boundaries are starting to come.

Great catch! A little bit of seam movement too which caught the batsman off guard. Something was going to give sooner or later, the last 10 overs have only gone for 9 runs. So I'm glad it was a :W:

Throw in rainsford in there, and you've got 40 overs for 36 runs and voila! 4 wickets for next to nothing!

How's that for more informercials :!: :?:

Brilliant session, good discipline by our bowlers, pressure, pressure, and eventually the wicket will come and bonus not much runs leaked, I like this, I like it a lot, I know a lot of instant gratification junkies will be hating this, saying we are going nowhere fast, but trust me in the larger scheme of things this is a coming of age session, this is what test cricket is about...ok must catch my breath...doesn't change my outlook about dearth of bowling experience, but this is what I mean when I say I rate these youngsters, give them 2/3 years proper preparation and they can challenge the world!

It is heartening to seem the team continue to apply themselves. NZ are going very slowly and look to be trying to avoid a loss themselves. If we can keep at it in this session we have a chance a opening the game up again.

Jarvis, fantastic bowling up front, not letting up at all

Ncube, a workhorse and disciplined, you may say lucky wicket I say he deserved it...

Mpofu, well within himself, but I'd rather 8 maidens and a wicket than this "lets try everything" and go for runs...

Masakadza, containment at its best, non threatening but effective...

Pricey, not his turn yet, but looking forward to him later

Fielding has lifted, I like...
