Just need to see out these few overs. I give the session to us if we go to stumps just losing Chari.
Agree. HM is a class player, another automatic selection as far as I'm concerned.me_amirali wrote:I would love to see Hami play a big knock here.
I think he has a lot to offer and needs to step up and do his part
I feel that I have rarely seen him struggle against any side. He just gets out because of lack of concentration or his own stupidity.

Maybe Regis for Chari, get the gloves off Moorzctears wrote:Raza in for Chari, neither seems a reliable run scorer at this time but at least Raza can get some wickets. Hamilton can open.

I give the session to us. No real demons in the pitch. I think Cremer bowled much better than their spinners have but the ball is pretty new still.
Chari was disappointing. Maybe he's just not up to it... the question you have to ask is, is this a guy capable of one day averaging 30 in Tests?
And I think the answer is no. Which makes it especially hard to leave out guys like Raza and Chakabva who already DO average 30 in Tests.

they selected him on form from the A games. i say lets see him in the second innings, i think as an opener he was expecting to face the seam bowlers for a little while longer, spin early on surprised him. and i think just having his place under threat always will affect him. i say lets not even drop him even if he fails in the second. if mutumbami could be a given such a long run with poor results lets give chari a decent run without always putting his place under pressure. but then again we need a keeper for the second game. moor cant open please.
