Brace yourselves…

Granted that Coltart attacks ZC on the race thing, but ZC use it just as much if not more.

They are always ready to play this game. ZC and ZANU keep living off the colonial bullshit and bringing it up every single time. It's fucking tiring and bullshit. They are quite happy to lose poorly if it means they can keep white people out of things, and keep shitting on them.

The people need to stand up to ZC. It's a cabal that is not concerned with the benefit of the game, but their political agendas. The fact that the ICC can watch all this and be like "yep, that's the leadership we need" is horrible. They are not worried about the health of the game. They are now only focussed on 3 teams, and that about 4-5 others will keep themselves around.

ZC is just full of shit and they really have their backs against the ropes

Just like ZANU they underestimated the power of social media and they have been found out. They try to run a "secret" organization in a public sport. PR should have just done what the WI board are doing, a so called "roadmap" and a public announcement, simple. Engage key stakeholders, former players, coaches, managers etc and have short, medium, long term plans that are clear to everyone. Hire consultants if need be and show you care!

Basically the stuff secret and googly have been screaming in the past decade here. You cannot fix the problems of ZC without former cricketers who actually care. Simple!

"As the batting coach [Jimmy Adams] pointed out, it's very difficult to change habits when you are getting somebody who has made so many runs at regional level but clearly has deficiencies when it comes to international level. It's very difficult to change in a couple of weeks. There are issues concerning strength and conditioning, which again points back to facilities which are available to youngsters and emerging players and 'A' teams, etc."

My thoughts on the petition sent to SRC

Ps. I don’t have any horse in this race. I just speak my mind all the time. I know some will agree and others will not and such is life.

Well written. I agree that while ZC is rotten, this petition isn't helping with its inaccuracies.
Even the one i wrote about return of Taylor its delaying the inevitable just putting a band-aid on a cancerous tumor.

I’m old enough to remember when two weeks ago you pretended you had inside info and that Taylor ‘categorically’ Will NOT play in the Test series.

We just cant afford to rock the leaking canoe.
Unfortunately, sadly, this is absolutely correct. Sums up exactly where I am with it all too.
Im ready to risk killing it after the 27 WC to fix it.

What is the point otherwise, as a fan?

Let the organisation die if it doesn't get better.

Something new and grassroots may emerge from the ashes, or not, but after the big 3/4 go I cant be bothered anymore personally.

Former players who actually cares? You do not know how much Alistair Campbell destroyed ZC during his short reign. Not all of them have good intentions. The defacto Director of Cricket right now is Dirk Viljoen but no one talks about it.
