As a Bangladesh supporter I am super pumped by this performance. But people will still keep tagging Bangladesh 'minnow' unless Bangladesh beat major teams on a regular basis. This is just a matter of 2 matches only. But what makes it so tasteful is that Bangladesh have beaten two major teams in a row, which has never happened before. What is needed now is 'consistency'. I would not mind if Bangladesh lost to Pakistan in the final, but will win more matches against major opponents more frequently. I would love to see at least 1 win in every 3 matches when they play against any of the top 6 teams.

Actually its happened twice before...going up 2-0 on NZ, and then finishing the series 2-0 for the 4-0 sweep!

Kriterion, I have thought about that before to write my post. I meant 'major' team which is in my thinking the top 6. Cheers.
By the way, did you follow the Asia cup final today. My oh my, what a match. Hope Bangladesh can only go forward from here!

I really do consider myself a Bangladesh fan. I think Zimbabweans and Bangladeshis need to support each others teams as we are often the subject of much ridicule as worthless minnows. Bangladesh's achievements in the Asia Cup cannot be understated.

I love to see the BDies taking scalps, as long as we knock them over afterwards.
