The one bowler coming through with the Brandes/Streak type chassis is Calum Price. He has taken 31 wickets from 11 games playing in the Staffordshire premier league and last week made 62 runs off 31 balls openning the batting (6 * 4 and 4 * 6).

Hmm i disagree. Price has a long way to go before he can be even compared with the likes of Streak and Brandes, who both had the ability to bowl genuinely fast. Price bowls 80clicks at best, but he does move the ball away ;)

i often wonder why C-dog never gets mentioned on ZCF in the same breath as other up and comers like Chitara,or even passing interest like the Brian Vitoris, and the fringe players that made the laughable 32 man list.

Every where i have seen him he has done genuinely well. I assume there is a reason for this as other people are probably in the loop better than myself.

I first saw him(and by saw i mean scopresheet on cricinfo) onthe u/19s Saffer tour and he did genuinely goodin each and every game played.

He also seems to rip apart the pommy league he is playing in. Ok,i understand that the standard inthat isnt at a high level but he does better than his counterparts it seems as the cock pointed out on Fri Jun 03, 2011 5:45 pm in this thread.

hes the only genuine superstar on the rise under 20 yrs old i can see.

Pleaseeeeee ZC do what you can to keep him.
