Why am I not surprised the Tino-Vusi partnership ends with a run-out?
Re: [Match Thread] Vice Chancellor’s XI v Zimbabwe - Tour Ma
I would love for us to get through this tour without a top order runout (in the real games)

While Vusi is there the chances are very high. I am not saying it was his fault bat he has a terrible record of being involved in run outs.Jemisi wrote:I would love for us to get through this tour without a top order runout (in the real games)

Congrats Vusi! Not even a century will appease these guys or dissuade them from criticising you...
Useful start from Mawoyo, and handy quick runs from Hami.
I think it's less of a case of poor bowlers, a more of rain/DL might be a factor, hence the quick-fire start.
Maybe our boys should also bat as if they're trying to set or chase a DL total. That would put them in a good position psychologically. After all those years in international cricket, they'll finally get a busy schedule for a year or two. No excuses for not being competitive.
They're quite capable, and should bat like they belong to international cricket. Lack of self-belief is what's been killing them.

Always said Sibanda's technique was the best in the country for a very long time! Even back in 2008 when he was getting loads of shit for scoring too slow, myself and a handful of the ZCF members backed him, so what you talking about ? In fact i've heard nothing but praise for Sibanda of late...Not even a century will appease these guys or dissuade them from criticising you...

Just wondering why Hamilton would be captain from out of the blue?

Because Taylor had probably only just showed up about 2 hours before the game? He would been 2nd in line anyway, right?bayhaus wrote:Just wondering why Hamilton would be captain from out of the blue?
