Here's our best all format team

Bennett, Welch, Ballance, Taylor, Williams, Raza, Higgins, Welch (Jr) Evans, Mazarabani, Ngarava.

Bench- Ervine/knackers/MW

MW makes it ahead of Maru, Overlord, Mayavo, Madande as keeper. Untested but he's got the highest ceiling of those 3 as a batsman first but can keep. If Taylor could still keep then MW sits out for Ervine or Knackers.

The others pick themselves all day. This team wins some games!!! Not impossible to put together.
Ballance
What's funny? Absolute Jet. One of the best batters to have EVER come out of Zimbabwe based on stats alone.

He's in the company of Andy Flower, Houghton, Hick and Peter Rawson. If he's still around I still would welcome this bloke back with open arms.

The fact we actually all had the privilege of seeing Ballance in a Zimbabwe test shirt is something in itself. He's in the category of Sean Ervine in what 'could have been.' Such a shame the way it all unfolded and finished for him.

The cricketer would always be welcome in a zim side, age dependent

Is there a squad list released as of yet?

I'm hoping to see Frost, Matty Welch and Myers in this for sure.

Was Evans injured? Can't post the image here. Evans is in along with Welch brothers, Naqvi, Jongwe, Myers etc. Why Naqvi is not selected for senior team?

That looks a decent squad. I have a big question mark over Chiorah. The kid has got a great eye, but has got absolutely zero technique. He's done pretty well this season, not doubt about that. If they rate him then surely coach him? That technique won't hold up against really good bowling.

I'm pleased with the squad too. I think Frost should consider himself unlucky but at the same time, they've chosen guys who have had success.

Glad they've given Nick Welch some more game time. Gets to prove his case further that he's the future.

On a serious note, where does he actually fit into this LOI side?

Still not convinced that Frost has made himself available for selection.
