If Mayavo doesn't make any more mistakes and contributes with the bat again I'm sure he'll retain his spot.

Mayavo batted really well, but his primary role, especially in a test is keeping. Once again Tsiga did enuf throughout the season to get first bite at this test. Hopefully he gets a game next test. Keeping is unforgiving, one missed chance and you're a c%#!

Match balanced even stevens at the moment. 51-49 advantage to Bangladesh given Zimbabwe will have to bat last. Idk how much this pitch will deteriorate by that time though so it might not make much of a difference if the grass holds the pitch together.
Bangladesh will want a lead of at least 250 to feel safe...this is the strongest overall ZIM Test batting lineup in a very long time.
You'd have to say 273 was probably a par score on this track, so well done to the ZIM lads. 325-350 probably would have been a really good score, but an 80 run lead is gold dust on a sporting wicket like this.
Should be a really exciting finish to this game either way.

Or it was 5 am on the eastern seabord...
But when have Blessing and Richie NOT been wacking it around bro? When was the last time those guys got out for less than 10? The two of them are probably in ZIM's top 7 run scorers in the last year, bet money.

Premium all rounders old blessing and Ritchie bailing out the Sogo boys again. Curran and welch showing why they didn’t get contract renewals at their counties.

Finally our bowlers bowling tight and being patient, but these guys are leaving well.
Re: Match Thread: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh 1st Test (20th-24th April 2025)
Blessing bowled one at 137. That's good pace. They keep this up and there's a chance coming.

Richie needs to bowl at the left hander, not in his channel. Just wasting beautiful deliveries by being 6 inches off
