yeah are there any good younger bowlers in schooling system?
Several in the next U19 batch but still pretty young and raw. Mataranyika, Victor Chirwa, Rugg, both Bennett's, Connor Grant, A Chibanda, Mgcini Dube, Schonken. All names to look out for who can bowl.
Dube? That an Indian?
Dube a popular Ndebele surname. Like Moyo and Mpofu is.
aka like Emmanuel Dube.

What's the latest with Bawa? Assuming he's no longer an option going forward if he's in the UK at school. Probably another Muyeye

He's at the same school that Muyeye (and Evans) went to as well :( Next U19 WC should be in the first quarter of 2022, although still no dates yet? So let's see if he is involved then. Will surely be captain if so. Fingers crossed he doesn't do a Muyeye.

Yea we've no chance. The UK are screaming out for talented black players in the face of the political climate of black lives matter. From what I've heard and going off the fact he scored a ton in the last Under 19 CWC, he's a special special player. He'll develop into an even better player with the exposure in the UK.

I actually don't mind players going over to the UK at his age and developing their game. England cricket facilities are probably the best in the world and ZC don't have to pay anything for it. Where my issue lies is when they don't come back and they get accustomed to the lifestyle over here. He's still young, but I wager he'll do what Muyeye did and seek some kind of political asylum.

As I've said before, I've got it on pretty good authority that Nick Welch has every intention, at some stage in the next 3 years, to make himself available for Zimbabwe. Coupled with (hopefully) Ryan Murray signing with a franchise next year and the emergence of the current crop of youngsters, I don't feel too aggrieved about Bawa in that there's still a lot of time for him to commit to Zim. The clock is ticking for Byrom however
