Absolutely correct: Don Arnott, a former wicket-keeper and honorary life vice president of ZCU until he was stripped of the role in 2007 alongside other notable former administrators.

Neither had I. I was checking for a possible link of Kevin Arnott to NZ, and up came the scorecard from the 1992 Test match at BAC where both Arnott and Ron Latham scored a century in what was for both their second ever Test match. Unbelievably they both only played two more Tests.

If Tom Latham scores a ton in this series, he would join the group of fathers and sons who have achieved that feat in the same city but on a different ground. I wonder how often that has happened outside London.
