Can you imagine? This guy will be the most capped ODI player for Zimbabwe soon. Did not deserve to play half the matches he has played...

I think Chigs has now collected 5 golden ducks and 1 diamond duck in ODIs plus another 10 where the stay was slightly longer.

Most of these guys have been around for so long, but they only seem to get worse.....
They were definitely a lot better a few years ago than they are now..........

Poor Waller. He was atleast trying to get the scorecard ticking which was the right thing to do at that stage. But lazy Mutumbami was not in a mood to run the very first ball.
Chigs is having the best time of his career! Will be breaking some records soon.

Lack of fixtures meant lack of exposure and teams didn't really know what to do. So it took a few overs or a few games for teams to realize you don't need to do anything extra, just bowl and eventually they will find a way to get out whilst also not scoring many runs from the deliveries they manage to survive.

And just milk the bowlers, and when they bowl the bad one, punish it.

With all the fixtures ZIM got after the last world cup, it allowed teams to analyze them better.

ZIM progressively gets worse as a series progresses...why? Because the other team be it Australia or Afghanistan studies their game, finds out what went wrong, and then makes the appropriate adjustment (bowl more stump to stump, rotate strike more in the opening 10 over PP, etc). ZIM does the following:

- WIlliams injures himself eating his breakfast cereal by somehow having a cheerio hit his eye resulting in a corneal abrasion - misses the entire series
- Hamilton is well Hamilton and scores boatloads of runs against Uganda Minister's 4th XI and then proceeds to struggle against whichever non-minnow team he faces
- Ervine who was scoring runs, albeit against a 2nd string England attack, is dropped in place of Brightness Chakabunga, List A average 5.79 from 50 caps.
- Panyangara manages to gain another 5 kg during the ODI series...and it was a one-off ODI!
- Jongwe decides that a batting average of 15 and a bowling average of 40 are terrific and instead of practicing, he chugs beers like he's Irish.
- Raza, flatters to decieve
- Somehow guys like Chibabha, Muzarabani, and Maruma get recalled while the only talented cricketers in ZIM leave the country on university scholarships, only to return if and when they find out England is no easy place to play cricket.

ZC admin pockets a cool million from the incoming tours, and the whole process is rinsed and repeated.

I can not believe it, our fastest bolwer is struggling to hit the 130 km/hr mark on the speed gun, no wonder why our batsman are useless

The ZC admins killed the game. Perhaps it was never sustainable to begin with at first glance Zimbabwe seems a strange nation to be playing anything the highest level (so does Sri Lanka)...but the ZC's corruption is only less astonishing than how the ICC let them get away with for over a decade!

The 2 Division system will probably put Zimbabwean cricket out of its misery.
