Okay i think i speak for everyone on this forum when i say that Williams is our best batter in terms of technique. He plays the ball under his eyes, plays in the "V" and can play spin as comfortably as Andy Flower did. This boy must play if we're going to move forward as a batting unit. Craig Ervine may be a good foil at the moment, but Williams has that much needed experience. Interesting times ahead. :|

Maybe its a commitement thing with williams, ive lost count of how many times he has left zim cricket or allegedly left and then came back. maybe The new selectors have taken a dim view of such developments and want to invest in players who are commited to the long term future of zim cricket. This is only a theory so dont lambast me for such a statement. There is no doubt he is a class player so can only clutch at straws
