Maybe need our Spin Tripartite to revive our Economy (Rate) Price will have to be the head of the Tripartite Movemnt with Cremer and Utesya as deputies in that order. And while the head is on "leave" Williams, to assist the deputies.

Ireland 155/7 after 40 overs. Terrible. I had hoped we'ld chase a total of 240 plus. But I guess to calculate a winning habit you have to be clinical with everything

Dear oh dear
Dreadful start, great middle, dreadful finish
I just can't get my head round some of these bowling decisions that captains are making now, it seems as though the minute a bowler is in the groove he gets taken off and when he's being caned he's left on, then a bowler is brought back for the 50th over when he hasn't turned his arm over for an hour or more
238-9 at the end, far too many runs given away
Hopefully a good start today and heads down for the winning line

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v Ireland: 2nd ODI
Those last two overs were brutal - but the total score seems to be about par for the wicket. CricketEurope commentary was speculating the wicket would get better for batting in the afternoon, too, so at least that would work in our favour.
We need to be a little more aggressive than on Sunday, though - we spent far too much of that innings behind the curve, which only puts pressure on the batsmen, and we all know how well we handle that. Get a decent start (should be Masakadza and Taylor opening), get ahead of the curve, and then just play it carefully & we should be okay. Emphasis on the should.

Poor show at the end there. Quite shameful.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

Ok if all go according to plan we should coast through with this team that has more firepower in batting .Honerstly speaking this would be our strongest batting line up on any day .Lets test it .
1. B Taylor
2. H Masakadza
3.T Taibu
4.S Williams
5. C Ervine
6.C Coventry
7.E Chigumbura
If all these guys cant finish the job the tail can wag on
8.G Cremer
9.P Utseya
10.E Rainford

...and both Taylor and Masakadza are going with the take-no-chances approach. Sit back and watch that required rate rise...
