It's lonely at the 50+ club, hurry up!eugene wrote:Slowly bridging the gap to Crimson.
To help foreignfield or eugene to catch up faster, or to help others to catch them up, here goes question number 517:
517. This man seems to have impressed in the initial days of his cricket career and did not do too badly with the chances he got at the FC level, but faded away from the game, and focused on another sport, which you can guess by looking at him in this pic...

That's correct. He had a positive profile description on Cricinfo by Derrick Townshend in 2000: http://www.espncricinfo.com/zimbabwe/co ... 55510.htmleugene wrote:Jason Hitz.
The precise kind of attributes we need among out players. But, left the game too soon.Jason is right-arm fast-medium, with an awkward action, but he does bowl a good line and length. He is good in the field and can bat a bit, but also very keen. He is one of the guys who has shown tremendous interest in attending nets, playing, learning and trying his heart out in the field. He is a good fielder and at the end of the day a good team man as well.
Looks like I posted the question at a time that is challenging for foreignfield's timezone, and hence you could inch ahead in the quest for 50. I'll try to nullify that effect whenever I ask my next question

I'll someday post a breakdown of who put up how many questions, and we'll see where Eugene ends up there

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
I may have put up one question once. Although I wonder if digging around for potential quiz questions actually gives you an advantage as you must uncover a lot of pictures along the way that most of us will never see.
Anyway, who is this fellow?

At least in my case, I don't think that has helped me in answering any more than 2-3 questions along the way. Strange though, most of the times when someone else has put up a question, like this one, I realize that I've never come across that photo or any photo of that person. By the way, some clues would help...
