Definitely looked like Victor Nyauchi on the stream mate. Who is Munyande?!CalZim wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 11:13 amWas a great innings just watched it back on Facebook, trouble is Mumba is not a great bowler. Quicker than Tirapano but not very accurate and gets put away quite often.TapsC2 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 11:06 amWhat a knock by Mumba. Watched most of it. He was dropped twice but he has some real power. If he had batted until the end they would have hit 330 easily. They have something to defend at least today but that pitch is a seriously flat.
If Hami and Rajput are serious about promoting youth then Tiripano needs to be dropped for Mumba. Mumba has potential. It should be Mumba versus Jongwe for that number 9 spot
Just noticed it was munyande not nyauchi the last bat, thank god for that. Was panicking thinking Nyauchi wasn’t in Ireland.

Oh I jumped on the stream and the scoreboard said munyande, probably was nyauchi, I don’t recognise him with his helmet on haha
Re: Zimbabwe Emerging vs Namibia
With Nyauchi and Kaia in then this is more like Zim A than Zim emerging. Expect this game and the last game to be a lot closer
Chibhabha, Chari, Kasuza, Mutumbami, Kaia, Ndlovu, Chivanga, Nyauchi, Mumba. These are 9 guys who are in and out of the national squad.
How strong is the Namibian team today? Are they at Full Strength?

bringing back these players play again and again is no use. bring new players. some of these players are not international standard

Tbf, a lot of these players may have past experience but a fair few of them - especially the batsmen - are very very far from current first team selection. I don't think Kasuza & Kaia have ever been in the conversation in white ball either. There's 8 or 9 batsmen ahead of any of these guys currently. BT, Ervine, Williams, Raza, Burl, Shumba, Marumani, Myers, Wes, K-long, Musakanda, Chakabva - there's 12 that would be picked for their batting alone ahead of any of these currently. Even Maruma too.TapsC2 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 11:52 amWith Nyauchi and Kaia in then this is more like Zim A than Zim emerging. Expect this game and the last game to be a lot closer

Ndlovu is probably 4th choice in the spin department as well.
Nyauchi, Mumba, Chivanga is our 'A' pace attack though, fair enough.

Both run out unfortunately. Saul was fucked over by Chamu lol. Think they looked good - Welch is a very classy, technical player. Saul hit a big six which was satisfying. Heaps of talent in them both, and other kids coming through. Zim's future with the bat is very exciting tbh.

Welch Jr is typically an opener correct? I saw that he was batting down the order in the T20ssecretzimbo wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 3:31 pmBoth run out unfortunately. Saul was fucked over by Chamu lol.
