The scorecard is not accurate, Trevor was the one who bowled the last over for Zim A (got the last wicket of Aliss).

There was complain Zim A squad having too many old players for A squad, but even Bangladesh emerging squad has more than handfull of players pushing 30 and over 30. Can't expect when it comes to any Zim squads as I mentioned before could've been worse though, I think is fairly balanced squad looking at what they are facing. Roy has been regularly in the squad and has been in Bangladesh before therefore tried to make sense of having him and Faraz. Real question when was the last time Roy had a decent game for A team? His experience doesn't mean much if he cannot perform in the team despite having good domestic season. Guess it's typical method of ZC recycling same players in the name of experience. Hopefully he performs even though he has cemented his place in the A squad. Players like Munyonga and Musekiwa should've been better option since they'll be part of the future plan. Atleast he made room for the 4-day games.
I think Marumani should bat lower, he always has urged to wack on almost every delivery.
Wesley's innings was an beauty to watch the way he handled the pressure, hope that'll be career changing innings for him. Lack of confidence and poor managament really messed his form.

I believe guys will do better in the next game my starting XI would be:
1. Inno
2. M Campbell
3. Roy (C)/Naqvi
4. Naqvi/Roy (C)
5. Burl
6. Madhevere
7. Marumani (WK)
8. Frost
9. Maposa
10. Gwandu/Akram
11. Masuku

Just saw a 147kph ball get Inglis out in the first ODI between Australia and Bangladesh. We might see some horrific winter morning sessions at HSC in a few weeks. Rana is tall too. Something feels different about them this time. I dont think they were at their best last year but this time they are more than up for it.

Anyone know anything about bangladesh - is this their genuine A team? They seem to be called 'Emerging' so I assume it's an academy or C team.
Depends on what you think the A team is for I guess. My understanding has been that the A team is the "second string" national side ie guys who are on the periphery of the senior side. I had always thought the A team was supposed to be for the following types of players:

- uncapped domestic stars as the pathway to top level int'l cricket (Tests, ODIs, T20Is)
- former national team discards needing high level cricket to prove their readiness for a recall
- national teamers recovering from long injury layoffs to get back into match fitness before a recall

I don't really understand the difference between a "High Performance Squad", "Emerging Team", or "Academy Squad". IMO they should all be equivalent and from my understanding they should be the next team down from the A team, ie a "B Team" or third string national team. I would add Under-23 teams to that designation as well.

But more to the point, whatever this Bangladesh team is called (I forget the title), its a pretty strong squad. Khaled Ahmed was a first team Test player for several years and a domestic standout. Zakir Hasan has 7-8 Test caps as well. So does Jakir Ali Anik. I'm not sure who else was playing but when I looked through the XI, it was a pretty strong team. I'd definitely call it an A team, although you could also add a few names to that squad like Habibur Rahman Sohan or Parvez Hossain Emon, Ripon Mondal, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, etc.
