Well bowled to Bangladesh. Kept attacking fields through out. Cannot understand the criticism of Tayor who got 110 by playing aggressively. Would rather that than 9 of 44. The players that were aggressive got rewarded(Chari,Taylor,Moor).

Hopefully we can keep it very very tight tomorrow and look to bat well after tea.

Many changes needs to be done in this test side before the test against India in 2019

Chari's innings of 53 was a comedy show and more a lucky innings then an impact one, where most of his fours came through edges, quite a few dropped chance, sixes were worst bowls, not fit for international standard.Needs some one with sound technique at the top.

Chakabva 's keeping & batting both are worst. He always had been costing Zimbabwe by dropping important catches & stumping. Moor is in prime form he should'nt take gloves anymore in longer format. Ryan Murray is tourist, still doesnt know his future in cricket for Zimbabwe, needs new keeper... Tuffy Mupriwa or Tsiga could be tried.

Tiripano is not an allrounder, he is a tailender who can stay around for some time. Value of an allrounder is huge this days and after Chigumbura none have came good.

I dont think they will anymore. Taijul bowled a lot of overs today. He needs a break. I think they will probably bat for 1 and a half sessions then put us in. Batting on the 5th day is very very risky especially with somebody like Jarvis then getting uneven bounce. 120 runs will be difficult to get in those conditions and the pitch is still ok to bat on. If I was them I would push Ariful up the order and give him a full license to play some shots.

If we do get put it in again then we need to target 5 sessions to bat out. Thats just 1 too many for me.

That's a fair point.

I just thought given the match situation, like 8 overs to stumps or thereabouts it's time to start shutting up shop. There's not much to be gained by playing with that sort of intent so close to stumps - that's what the bowling team want.

Won't blame Raza & Williams, they have been doing the job for Zimbabwe in all three formats in last one year.

Big question on contribution of new commers. Tiripano, Chakabva & Mavuta, total flops, they are in the side with big reputation of batting through domestic cricket. None could contribute even 30 & 40 which would have been great for Zimbabwe and they could have crossed 322 mark.
Robo to rule

Fair point as well. Understand where you are coming from. Although i feel cricket is played in the present not future. You never know what may happen tomorrow. It may rain, someone may get injured Chatara case in point(took the new ball late on day 1 could have been a different situation).

But we have gotten this far against the odds we just need to focus and maybe with alittle luck tomorrow we can save this match

Why not bowl to them with ultra defensive field placings and waste 2 sessions for them to get 150 runs or so..

Yeah, I agree. I hope Jarvis and Tiripano try and slip at least one and over down leg side

Unless it turns square I think we should probably hold back Mavuta and Raza. Jarvis/Tiripano/Williams/Masakadza IMO.
Law 25.1 - Judging a Wide - states: "For bowlers whom umpires consider to be bowling down the leg side as a negative tactic, the strict limited-over wide interpretation shall be applied."
We need to test that law.

Play with a 7-2 inside field and bowl legside to them..Hopefully our bowlers will atleast bowl on legside accurately.. :D
