What black player has excited the fans besides Hamilton, taibu?
Prosper, may so and busi are other recent players that fall into this category too.
Chatara? He hasn't sold me, just doesn't look skilful
Under a white admin by a black coach , the so much loathed Steve Mangongo. You just cant help being a racist can you? Lucky you went to Australia or else you would have been miserable in New Zealand.
No,
zimdoggy, that the so called talented players were tutored under a white administration mean very little at all, it is merely incidental and with enough resources, which the whites had, a competent black administration can do the same thing. If this so called white admin had enough foresight, they would have tried spreading the game wider, would have promoted talented black batsmen instead of the token tearaway black bowler, and wouldn't have suppressed the likes of Trevor Madondo and other players to the point of near revolt.
Remember how Heath Streak tried to resist Tatenda Taibuu elevation to the national team in favour of Donald Campbell? That was just bad judgement and foresight pal, and it was actions like those that also led us to where we are right now. So guess what: bad admin. By a white admin.
Chatara hasn't sold you? Sure, he's injured now but if you still didn't rate him before injury... well your are entitled to your opinion. Which is always prejudiced of course.
Yes, currently we suck at admin and accountability, and true Bob drove us to the ground (which incidentally is the genesis of ALL our problems including cricket), but don't use it to justify your thinly disguised racism, bro.

Any excuse to wear the black panther mask right?
You missed the point of what I was saying,
I love being racist but there was a reason why I wrote 'White' like this, because it wasnt actually 'white' its just referred to as such.
The point im trying to make that got lost onyou, was our best black players were brought up under the past functioning system.
The indigenisation push hasnt helped the youth at all. It hasnt created the tough mindsets needed. Its all been too easy.
The admin of the 90s DID try and push the game further and promote black talent.
Why on earth would they bother with Madondo and Nkala when they did?
The difference though was they werent compromising the talent standards in order to do so.
They were pushing the game further but the ones who were making it were not getting an easy ride to the top, no Prosper Utseya gravy train where he started as an opening batsman then became a spinner overnight and into the national team.
That said, why is it an absolute must to push the sport onto kids they werent interested?
as long as you dont close doors on black kids who want to play, there is nothing wrong with it being a sport thats enujoyed and played amongst a minority population.
Cricket in the USA for example is all curry.
If they were born and bred young athletes and not imported I.T workers playing socially, they would be a test team as well.
