Keeps going back and back... Last I heard it was the 3rd...

How about making the ZPL the national list A competition? Similar to the way that Bangladesh have made the Dhaka Premier Division the list A tournament over there.

I guarantee there will be at least a 2-3 week Christmas break as well. We will be lucky to get two rounds in before Xmas, then it may stutter back into life in the New Year.

Maybe ZC should just leave it to the provincial associations to organise matches amongst themselves. I mean it's getting pretty ridiculous with all these delays.
Just devolve the responsibilities to the local boards. Better to have Mashonaland and Matabeleland play a few 3 day games against each other than wait endlessly for a Logan Cup league which may or may not happen.

It will happen, relax. An ad hoc 1st class season? Definitely a bad idea. 12 round competition would be great, fingers crossed it will happen.

Hopefully the squads are more balanced this year, the Eagles and Goats seem to farm slot of the talent and guys like Musoko, Diplock etc didn't get much of a run .....

Does anyone know of any players changing sides ??
