Also watching a cricket game in Ireland is quite hilarious  made to look like a school cricket match from the low budget broadcast. And Ireland really looks like a very rural place. In terms of pace of life, not sure why PJ would choose to live there considering he is a rich kid back home.
If you look at the stats, (republic of) Ireland is now one of the wealthiest and most developed countries on the planet. Meanwhile the North seems to be one of the most backward places around!

Still not sure what Pj’s long-term plans are. Heard conflicting reports from different people.

One of the good things about this series is the lack of interest and visibility from people around the world. Just a few hundred viewers on Cricket Ireland's Live twitter , not available on any significant or major TV channels (certainly not in the UK) No one in the cricketing world cares or is watching this series so it will slide under the radar. Another reason why it's not the worst idea in the world to try out the youngsters.
Yes and no. There is this thing called cricinfo archives.

I follow ZIM cricket very closely and yes, even I completely forget or didn't realize ZIM toured Netherlands and Ireland in 2019 during the World Cup. But then I went back, prompted by this forum, and was somewhat shocked to see ZIM lost 2-5, including 0-5 in ODIs.

I would be worried as the signs are worrying. A couple of years ago, ZIM lost all 5 ODIs despite playing their full strength team. In this tour so far, senior guys have been rested, but apart from a miraculous win in the first match, ZIM have been beaten by wide margins in all games so far. And the margins keep getting bigger as the series progresses, indicating that the Irish are making adjustments as they go along.

It can't all be blamed on Rajput either because apart from the series against UAE, it has probably been 10 years since Zimbabwe last dominated any opposition in a series (Kenya probably).

My problem is if the 5 T20 in Ireland did not include BT, Sean and Raza why not include Musakanda & Klong if the whole world can see our opening spots are pitiful...
Ireland has been changing winning squads but not zim..
It's a shame and people complain why we play so little international cricket
U think west indies, Sri Lanka, South Africa and New Zealand want any part of this...Unless they are forced by scheduling...

And this is kind of exactly my point. Teams won't want to play us if they see us continue to struggle against lesser teams. Why risk their players getting injured or over worked and tired. Look how long it's taking to reschedule that Aus ODI series. It's going to disappear and we'll never play it.

We could see that the current line up was not working, and yes K-long is not as good or in any good form either, but at some point you have to mix it up or change the way you do things. Constantly playing the young guys will not develop.

Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

Zimbabwe T20 future is not looking good, in comming 3 years Zimbabwe will come through few ICC events including T20 quailifers, wont be surprised if Zim gets badly defeated by few associate teams as few of them has raised there standard

There is no sign of improvement, getting defeated by Ireland & Namibia might be the lowest from Zim, excuses shouldn't be the reason of defeat.

Am i the only one that DOES remember the dutch/Irish tour?

I do think its a good ides to blood younger players in the T20s, but its a bad look always losing, and no one learns by getting belted. Just contributes to the famed loser mentality.

mix it up a bit more, BT should be in there and Willo should have got one hitout. You still want to win.
